Product Implementation and Support Specialist

Our growth has led to an exciting and challenging opportunity for a Product Implementation and Support Specialist to be based in our Montreal office.

Main responsibilities

The main role of the Product Implementation and Support Specialist is to assist ORANGE clients in the deployment of the EMPulse Series solution.  As such, this person is required to:

  • Implement all modules of the EMPulse Series HRMS software at our clients;
  • Rapidly grasp the essential elements of a client’s labour management processes and devise creative solutions based on our product’s capabilities;
  • Draft functional specifications and lead our clients through a detailed validation of the delivered product and data;
  • Participate in the improvement of our processes, including implementation and others;
  • Provide user training to our clients;
  • Perform monitoring and follow up with our clients;
  • Assist the Help Desk by providing phone tech support and email responses to clients.
The ideal candidate will have:

Essential skills/abilities
  • Possess at least three (3) years relevant experience as a payroll/HR software implementation consultant or a minimum of five (5) years experience as an expert user;
  • Have excellent functional knowledge of payroll, HR and job costing concepts;
  • Familiar with labor laws in provinces across Canada;
  • Have an excellent command of MS Office tools;
  • Previous experience working with databases;
  • Good knowledge of business practices and processes, preferably across multiple industries;
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate with clients courteously and effectively in writing, in person, or on the telephone in both English and French;
  • Be willing to travel to carry out implementation and training projects;
  • Good organizational skills as well as a strong sense of planning and follow-up;
  • Team player capable of maintaining a good working relationship with co-workers;
  • Proven ability to maintain confidentiality with respect to client information;
  • Customer service oriented.
Desirable skills/abilities
  • PCMP or CPM certification, from the Canadian Payroll Association;
  • Previous experience working for a payroll service provider or software vendor;
  • Strong analysis and synthesis skills;
  • Ability to learn new concepts quickly;
  • Drive to continually increase knowledge;
